Solwers companies grow through acquisitions in Finland and Sweden

Sweden-based Licab AB significantly strengthens its foothold in Kiruna by acquiring the entire shareholding of the local North 68 Consulting AB. With today's transaction, North 68 Consulting will become a fully owned subsidiary of Licab. It will continue to operate with local management and presence. Together the companies have a total of 20 specialists in infrastructure, mining industry and social development projects in Kiruna.

Founded in 2007, Licab has grown over the years from a two-employee company to a consulting agency with 66 experts in the construction industry. The company has operations in six locations in Sweden: Gällivare, Kalix, Kiruna, Luleå, Stockholm and Piteå. Licab has been part of Solwers Plc since 2020.

Lukkaroinen Arkkitehdit Oy expands its operations to Kokkola by acquiring the entire share capital of Arkman Arkkitehtuuri Oy. With today's acquisition, Arkman's five employees join Lukkaroinen's team, but continue to do master and architectural design locally in Kokkola and nearby counties.

Lukkaroinen Arkkitehdit, founded in 1980, is one of Finland's largest architectural firms, employing around 100 architectural specialists. Multidisciplinary operations enable a wide range of services, from land use planning to interior details, taking into account the well-being of people and the environment. The company also has offices in Oulu, Helsinki and Turku. Lukkaroinen has been part of Solwers Plc since 2021.

With the completed business acquisitions, Solwers companies are further strengthening their project and construction management expertise in the mining sector as well as healthcare building planning. The profitability of both target companies supports the group's medium-term goals, and their combined turnover in 2022 was approximately two million euros.
