The Savilahti campus is now the largest building in the Nordics with the Nordic Swan ecolabel – safe and healthy spaces enable excellent teaching and guidance.

The Nordic Swan ecolabel is a mark of construction quality. To receive the label, a building must be environmentally friendly throughout its entire lifecycle, from the construction phase to material recycling. To meet the ambitious criteria, the building must not only be environmentally friendly and have good indoor air quality but also be energy efficient.

Completed in 2022, the Savilahti campus offers bright spaces that meet the needs and wishes of users for students and staff. The complex consists of three interconnected buildings: Valo, Voima, and Vire. The campus has a floor area of over 23,600 m² and a gross area of 28,800 m².

The building accommodates approximately 4,500 students and 460 staff members. The multidisciplinary campus includes fields such as welfare, business, tourism, catering and food, information processing and telecommunications, electrical and automation, automotive, mechanical and production technology, laboratory, process, security, and preparatory education for qualifications.
