Markku Savolainen has been appointed Managing Director of GeoUnion Oy as of 1 June 2021. He will start the introduction period at GeoUnion at the beginning of May and joins the company from the position of Head of Department at Sitowise. He has previously worked at Geotek as Head of Department and has had a long career in the Geo Department of the City of Helsinki.
Matti Mäntysalo, the founder and formed MD of Geounion, will continue to work as an expert and Chairman of the Board. “We are delighted to have an experienced professional like Markku to head our operations. He brings us strong expertise in land and ground construction and geotechnical engineering for building and infrastructure projects,” says Matti Mäntysalo.
